Branwen’s Retreat

Branwen’s Retreat is set on the property “Paradwys” at the base of Coolangatta Mountain on the South Coast of New South Wales, just two hours south of Sydney. Paradwys means “paradise” and hails from the Welsh family origins of your host Kate Roberts, and a tiny parish on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. The surrounding green dairy pastures and magnificent views of the Great Dividing Range reminded her of the views from her family’s farm across to Snowdonia National Park.

As seen on Channel 7’s “The Great Outdoors”, The Drawing Rooms is a magnificent 15-acre property surrounded by forest and velvet-green pastures that topple into the valleys below. Stay in the guesthouse, or perhaps you would prefer a completely self-contained private lodge. Choose the Drawing Rooms as your base from which to explore Berry’s markets, shops and cafes, or perhaps one of the seven local wineries, golf courses, adventure activities or bush walks – including our favourite Drawing Room Rocks walk.

Silos Estate

Silos Estate offers a truly unique holiday experience. Whether you have come to relax in a cottage overlooking vineyards, tour the winery, sample wines, view art, or enjoy a meal in the restaurant, it will be an experience to remember. The estate is a working vineyard operating from buildings used in the original dairy farm established in 1870. The premises have now been fully restored and house award winning accommodation, a restaurant and an art gallery. Visitors can enjoy a walk around the vineyard followed by a wine tasting or a browse through the art gallery at the cellar door. Alternatively, why not enjoy a meal at the award-winning restaurant and stay the evening at the luxurious country cottages.
